My photographs arise from a preconceived idea that is transformed by chance; the imagery is conceptually premeditated but formally random.
In these images, I see Barthes’ punctum: a detail that becomes intimate, that attracts us and leaves us restless. Above all, the punctum—the slight suggestion, the attraction—urges us to reflect on the image.
