The world as seen standing just behind Park Geun-hye, the first female President of South Korea — a fascinating, unusual portrait series.

She is Park Geun-hye.
She is not just any woman.
She is now the president of South Korea .

I did not only take photos of her back.
But, I wanted to capture how she reflected onto the people around her.
Plus, I was curious to see the world from her point of view.

So I followed her for a year before she became president.
