My images are essentially about people; colour; telling powerful stories, and celebrating beauty, grace, resilience, and spirit. I strive to capture slices of life with all its vibrancy, dynamism, contradiction and turmoil thrown in. I create images with impact and purpose that educate, intrigue, inspire, and highlight concerns, as well as, solutions. My mission is to say something about who we are, how we live, what we dream; our challenges, triumphs, rites and rituals.
I live in Nairobi, where I originally trained as a lawyer and have an LL.M in Law and Development from University College London. Being a published sustainable development writer, I tend to look at life through this critical lens and so strive to create images with impact and purpose.
