About Ashley Bourne

b.1993 | Ashley Bourne is a British photographer born and raised in the West Midlands (UK). After completing a bachelor of the arts degree at Falmouth University, he moved to Bristol, where he now lives and works. His work centres around storytelling, drawing on ideas from his personal experience and memory to form the basis of his projects. As well as being exhibited at London’s National Portrait Gallery, his work has been featured in places such as The Guardian and The British Journal of Photography. In 2025, he was awarded part of the Martin Parr Foundation bursary to further develop his creative practice.
