I have a background in arts administration. I was inspired to pick up the camera after reading Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue's second book. In the book Sixx talk's of using the camera as a way to help him stay sober and clean after having a long standing drug addiction. For me it is not addiction that was crippling my life but anxiety. Taking pictures, waiting for the perfect light and perfect moment to shoot has helped to teach me how to calm my oncoming panic attacks.
