Bharat Choudhary is an independent photographer based in Geneva, Switzerland. He learnt photography under the mentorship of Magnum photographer Raghu Rai. He graduated with a Masters in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri, USA, in 2010. He has been a recipient of the Ford Foundation International Fellowship, Alexia Foundation Professional Grant, Getty Images Grant for Editorial Photography and a three-time finalist for the W. Eugene Smith Grant. His work has been published widely and recognized by a number of awards and exhibitions.
Since 2009, he has been working with the Muslim and Arab youth in America, England and France on a project called The Silence of ‘Others’.
