Seidner's dark, face-only portraits are a respectful tough iconography of the contemporary art scene. Richard Serra looks like Zeus, or perhaps Poseidon. Cindy Sherman is more elusive. Originally exhibited as grids of 20x24" platinum prints, these images are just as impressive in book form.
