From the artist: "This book records the landscapes of the quiet port towns located in Sanriku district in '91-'93. On March 11, 2011, all of a sudden, these areas were hit by 'The Great Higashinihon Earthquakes.' Now those scenes have become 'lost scenery' since almost all the cities disappeared [in the] tsunamis. Yasunori Hoki and I decided to turn them into a book to leave [this] beautiful scenery in history with people's memory. We dedicate this book to all the victims."
