Patrick J Finn
In Notes to Myself: Portraits in India Patrick J. Finn explores his relationship to the people of India. His personal account, photographed over eight years, is candid and honest, if not revealing. Patrick has known some of the participants for many years while others only briefly – in the moment. Each portrait combined with Finn’s ‘notes’ inspire a depth that can be interpreted on many levels and allow the viewer to draw their own conclusions. The selection of 108 images is intentional and represents the number of beads on a mala (Indian rosary.) Patrick hopes that each photo will act as a prayer for the people of India and he invites you to share in this celebration.
