Wake up nights

Wake up nights is about a group of young people from Ukraine. They are part a subculture which emerged from the nightlife scene in Kiev after the revolution of 2014. Stuck between a political system promising hope of a better future and opportunists reluctant to leave the communist past they create a space of freedom for themselves. They are the first generation born and to have grown up after the fall of the soviet union.
