Requiem

Requiem is structured as a series of nine chapters, inspired by the rhythm of the Liturgy of the Hours.

Each chapter consists of a diptych: a color version and a black-and-white version of the same motif.

The digital images are overlaid with the texture of a copper plate taken from an old oil painting.

This overlay creates layers that fragment and condense the motifs.

The color and black-and-white images are placed side by side, making differences in form, structure, and detail visible.
