This handsome exhibition catalogue showcases a wide selection of some of Berenice Abbott's finest work. Included are portraits of artists in Paris during the 1920s, many of her famous New York street scenes, a series of photographs illustrating basic scientific principles, and several images made in rural America. Accompanying the plates are short essays by the photographer, in which she comments on various aspects of her work.
