Each summer a group of self-proclaimed 'radical faeries' gathers for an annual retreat in a wooded Minnesota sanctuary called Kawashaway. Keri Pickett photographed these gatherings over five years. Her elegant black-and-white images, complemented by excerpts of her conversations with the faeries, reveal the cautious, joyful evolution of a community.
