Stone Walls, Grey Skies: A Vision of Yorkshire

George Tice received a fellowship in 1990 to photograph in the Yorkshire area, an experience he describes as akin to being an alien landing "on a foreign planet. No landscape in America that I was familiar with could I compare it to, and even the language sounded foreign." In 1991 he made three additional visits, and the result is this new, expanded version of his wonderful book Stone Walls, Grey Skies. This new edition contains 30 new images not published before.
