Evidence: Photography and Site

The companion to The Wexner Center's exhibition Evidence, this title is a finely produced meditation on the them of site in photography. The images--by Hiroshi Sugimoto, Thomas Struth, Lynne Cohen, Lorna Simpson, Margaret Morton, and Merry Alpern--are all variously concerned with landscape and location. Numerous images by the artist's are reproduced exactly as displayed in the exhibition, rendering another, deeper level to the title Evidence. Along with some revealing, illustrated essays Evidence includes the first chpater from Lynne Tillman's forthcoming novel, No Lease on Life.
