Ubac (1910-1985) was an experimental photographer whose photograms and montages recall the work of his contemporary Man Ray and evoke both the Dadaist and Constructivist movements. Ubac's work is slightly more sophisticated than Man Ray's, taking the representation of the human body-a favorite motif of members of both movements-as a starting point for his work.
