Weegee: Naked New York

This latest look at the work of New York City's greatest tabloid photographer, is a tight, gripping exposé of Weegee's hard edged photographs. It contains many of his most famous images, is nicely printed, and fast paced. John Coplan's informative essay provides background, but delves further into Weegee's work, trying to answer some of the difficult questions about the photographer, his intentions, and his achievements.
