Eve Arnold, born in 1912 to Russian immigrant parents in Philadelphia, died in London in 2012 shortly before her 100th birthday. One of the great women photographers of the 20th century, Eve Arnold joined the legendary Magnum agency in 1951 and became its first full female member in 1957.
