Caleb Stein is a NY-based photographer. He graduated from Vassar College in 2017 with a degree in art history. He worked for Magnum photographer Bruce Gilden (2015-18). He recently completed 'Down by the Hudson', a two-year, personal project on Poughkeepsie, NY. 'The Watering Hole, a series focusing on an Edenic space where people go to cool off and let their guard down during the summer, was made in his final weeks in Poughkeepsie, as a counter-point to 'Down by the Hudson'. He was a 2017 runner-up for the Burn Emerging Photographer Fund.
