Caolan Barron is a 28 year old photographer and director from Wexford Town, Ireland. Self taught, Caolan purchased his first camera in mid 2013 after winning a bet on a horse.
With personal work his main objective, Barron would take on his most notable photographic project in October and November 2014 where he spent 2 months documenting a local elderly women’s hair salon, 'Kay’s'. The documentary was soon picked up by The Wexford Arts Centre culminating in a solo exhibition of 'Kay's' in February/March 2015.
More recently, portraiture has been his focus. He currently works as a freelance photographer, art and brand director based in his hometown of Wexford, Ireland.
