Born in 1968, I graduated as an MBA before starting a career in Information Technology. My passion for photography really took of in 1993, during a 6-month trip from Zanzibar to Cape Town, with my future wife. However, it took us another 10 years before becoming professional free-lance photographers.
While Elyane favours portrait and travel photography, I focus on nature and wildlife photography. A complementarity that is a real asset, as it enables us to offer comprehensive coverages of our destinations.
These last 23 years our passion and understanding of Africa has been nourished during our extensive travelling (3 to 4 months a year), on board our custom-built expedition truck that has become a mobile base we work from. This amazing journey has lead us into the realm of conservation photography. In order to help extraordinary people fighting to ensure the preservation of threatened species, we co-founded 'Photographers for the Preservation of Nature' as a platform for like-minded photographers.
We have exhibited extensively in France and Belgium, as well as in Switzerland and Namibia. Authors of the books "C'est Beau Près De Chez Vous" and "Natuur om de hoek", we've started working on our next one - on our African journey.
