Centa Schumacher is an artist, educator, and director of the art gallery Phosphor Project Space, an exhibition space focused on emerging artists. Schumacher recently exhibited her work in the solo exhibition Voids, etc at 707 Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio Center (Johnson, VT), Kala Art Institute (Berkeley, CA), and the Brew House Distillery Program (Pittsburgh, PA). Born in Fresno, California, Schumacher received her MFA from San Francisco State University and is currently based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
