Christian Anderson is a photographer based in London and Hertfordshire area. After graduating from the London College of Communication in 2011, receiving a BA (hons) in Photography, he spent several years working as a studio and photographers assistant and freelancing, producing commercial based work. He has since spent five years as an art, photography and exhibition technician in colleges and galleries where he continues to develop his photographic practice. His work explores themes surrounding faith, religion, race, culture, identity and relationships. How we relate to one another, how we see ourselves as people and how we fit into society. He thoroughly enjoys working with and reading people, picking up on their emotions and their subtle human responses. Using portraiture, documentary, landscape and still life with fine art elements to represent the ideas considered. Documenting and telling peoples stories whilst threading together our similarities and differences in order to find a common ground.
