A photographer since high school, I have spent the vast majority of my career as a newspaper photojournalist. The last 10 years I have worked as a visual storyteller focused on video. Despite always being a photographer, I lost my way somewhat, and am coming back to the artistic aspects of my visual being.
My career has taken me from Kansas to California, Maine, Chicago, and Baltimore. After 13 years with The Baltimore Sun I moved into the marketing department at Salisbury University as the official university videographer. My journalistic work, both still and video, has been regularly honored nationally.
Soon I will be leaving Salisbury, Md., to start my graduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin. My plan is to continue into the doctoral program, all the while continuing my artistic rediscovery of photography.
