Christopher Hinton is a Canadian film director and photographer living in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Hinton is an internationally recognized independent animation director and professor, (Concordia University, Faculty of Fine Arts. 1988-2005) who has directed and produced films for the National Film Board of Canada, Sesame Street, numerous commercial and independent productions.
He has been nominated twice for an Academy Award and won a Genie and Jutra awards in Canada. He has won awards at festivals at Stuttgart, San Francisco, Chicago, Annecy, Zagreb, Ottawa, Hiroshima, NewYork and Rio de Janeiro and Melbourne Australia.
He is currently working as a photographer in Canada and Mexico.
