After being furloughed from his job as a diesel locomotive mechanic on a Class I railroad in 2021Chuck decided that it was time to resume chasing his dream of being an artist. After struggling to find his footing in this new world he found solid ground. He is the director of a nonprofit organization in Detroit Michigan and teaches photography to inner city students at an after school program in Detroit as well.
