Clare Thomas is a British artist currently living in Victoria, Canada. Her work is concerned with memory, home and belonging. She uses found and domestic materials, and combines art and craft techniques, to create a body of altered photographs, photo collages, drawings, paintings, textiles and sculptures whose narrative is both deeply autobiographical and universal.
Thomas holds an MA in Art and Environment from the University of Falmouth, UK, and is a founding member of BOXCARSIX artist collective. Her work has been shown in Canada, the UK and Europe.
