An artist and teacher, 20 years, in public , charter and private schools as well as a study abroad program in Italy. I spend every summer returning to Italy to maintain the relationships, the language, the customs of my family alive and thriving. Southern Italy is the backdrop, the stage, on which I see key players set; family relationships that morph and move in spectacular and subtle ways. That is what I seek to photograph and document.
