D. James Dee retired in 2013 after 39 years in New York City where he started a photo studio that specialized in documenting art work, working for artist, galleries, museums, collectors and publishers. In those 39 years close to 250,000 pieces of art were documented. The images have been used for artist portfolios, archival documentation, reproduction in books, as posters, and web sites.
