My first solo show was entitled The Israelite Samaritans and the Festival of Unleavened Bread; Photography by Dale Lazar and contained 42 photographs. This exhibition took place in 2015 at the American Jewish Museum in the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. For more information, go to www.daleslazarphotography.com.
My photography has been accepted to juried exhibitions by: the Pittsburgh Society of Artists (Pittsburgh, PA), Silver Eye Center for Photography (Pittsburgh, PA), Valley Art Center (Chagrin Falls, OH) and the Cleveland Print Room (Cleveland, OH). In addition, I serve as the sole staff photographer, on a volunteer basis, for the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ).
When not making photos, not traveling with my wife, Lynn, and not spending time with my grandchilden, I own and manage a business, H. Lazar & Son, Inc., (www.hlazarandson.com) that provides jukeboxes, pool tables, electronic dart games, ATMs, etc. to bars throughout southwestern PA.
