I can't imagine a world without my camera. If I am not teaching photography at my local college, I am usually out photographing in some capacity. It is not just a passion - an obsession even, but also an escape for me. This is where my love of creating imagery at night comes from. Often I load up the car for days at a time and take off into the night to photograph. Nothing comes close to the tranquillity, contentment and the focus I feel when it's just me and the camera at night; away from the daily grind, void of any human interference. I have previously worked in fashion and product based photographic roles, but cast these aside to pursue my night photography.
