Daniel González Acuña was born on August 17, 1976.
He obtained a PhD in Archaeology (2008) and also a postgraduate degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of Seville (2011). In the development of these studies, he received a grant by the International Cooperation Office of the same university to make his photographic project about the situation of Christian minorities in the Palestinian Territories, published as a book.
His photographs have been published in newspapers (Wall Street Journal, ABC, El Mundo, El Correo de Andalucía, La Razón), Revista Ejército, Revista Española de Defensa, digital platforms of photojournalism and specialized media in archaeology and performing arts.
At the present, he combines his work as Head of Communication with collaborations with news agencies and specialized media in performing arts, as well as making social photographic reports.
