So who am I and why do I even do this?
I’m Dave, and it’s pretty simple: at the core of it all, I have a passion for people and the different ways in which we pronounce life. I’m a photographer and creative strategist living and working in New Jersey.
The sincerity of my imagery is reflective of the intimacy found within my relationships early in life. My first word was Wow, and I think you can see that in everything I do and am. I see the world with wonder and walk by intuition, while using critical analysis to make imagery that can be felt. My style is informed by fashion, absurdity, playful experimentation, surrealism, personal trauma, movement, form, color, grit and intersectionality. My work looks to honor and elevate the ordinary in its full dimensionality, while exploring the ephemeral ways in which we connect with and understand one another.
