Raised on a farm on the southern coast of Tasmania, Debra grew up passionate about photography from an early age. Farm life gave Debra plenty of subjects from animal life to dynamic scenery which to practice and hone her craft. Debra migrated at the age of 21 became involved in the art-scene in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She gained a Masters and a Doctorate in the visual arts, and resides on the north coast of Queensland. Debra works professionally in the arts. In her arts practice she uses multi-mediums, mainly photography but also illustration and painting. Debra has solo and collaborative art exhibitions including international and national awards for her photo-media being represented in public and private collections.
