My name is Denisa Uhliarová, I’m anthropologist, currently in the third year of my PhD studies at the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava (Slovakia), at the moment conducting research among tribal communities in the Eastern Gujarat (India). The main goal of my thesis is to research how the tribal, clan based, egalitarian society adapt their cultural patterns in the hierarchical oriented major society.
