Domnick Sorace was born in 1994, Reggio Calabria, Italy, raised between Italy and Malta. He graduated in 2017 with a B.A. First Class (Honours) Degree in Fine Arts from MCAST Institute of Creative Arts, Malta. In the same year he moved to Ireland, where he was awarded a Studio Residency and Material Funding from VISUAL Centre of Contemporary Art. In 2018, he moved to Dublin to continue to pursue his artistic practice and career, where he became a studio member at The Complex Arts Centre and subsequently was awarded Studio Subsidisation by the Arts Council of Ireland, Till May 2020. He has exhibited both in Malta, Brussels and had his first Solo Show, titled "BitterSweet on the Tongue" in January 2020 at the Ground Gallery, Dublin. Sorace is currently in the process of developing another Solo Show "The Island Recalls what the Land Forgot", which will take place in Cork, 2021.
