I am a composite of my instructors and mentors. My compositional eye came from my mother, Sylvia Schwartz, a consummate artist, without formal training. My photography mentors are too numerous to mention, but Frank Dispensa remains my current go-to.
Making beautiful images is my passion. As a retiree photography is what keeps me alive as I don't play cards or golf.
As an occasional instructor, I find student questions as to "how" an amusing reminder of just how differently we see what's in front of us.
