Dwight Campbell is a US and South African based documentary photographer. With more than 10 years behind the camera under the tutelage of Hollywood motion picture cinematographers, Campbell is inspired by his ability to expose the plight of his subjects through the power of image, one frame at a time.
Recently, Campbell’s journeying through central Europe, the Middle East, and East and South Africa opened doors tales outside his comfort zones and a purpose to invite global commentary to his work. His exhibition series Letters from Madagascar exposes power and politics in an ever colonised nation using raw imagery, brevity and expression for education and change.
