About Elizabeth Van Dyke

Elizabeth Van Dyke is a photographer and conservationist based in Santa Cruz, California. She has won recognition from LensCulture, Orion, Save Our Shores, Birdwatching Magazine, Creative Live and the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory.

Elizabeth traveled to six continents to spread the joy and the message of conservation through her photography.

As a member of the board of directors of the Ventana Wildlife Society for ten years, she helped conserve and release California Condors, Peregrine Falcons and Bald Eagles.

She co-authored "The Book of Cranes" and "The Book of Monarch Butterflies"; and contributed to the books "Our Magnificent Planet 2021, Single-image celebrations from LensWork Readers"; "2020 Vision" and "The Empty Years: An Oral History of the Pandemic(s) of 2020".
