My name is Eric Edge. I began photography during my freshman year in college at University of Houston in 1984 photographing on a film camera and developing in the darkroom. In 2002, I officially switched over to digital. I worked in IT for over fifteen year as a Product Manager while I pursued photography as a hobby. While living in Los Angeles, I began to do street and documentary photography. While there I also began to do a wedding here and there. I moved back to Texas in 2010 and continued to pursue my passion projects and weddings. Currently, I am enrolled in the Austin Community photography program and I am one semester away from receiving an Associate Degree in Wedding and Portraiture Photography. Last semester at the print show, I won top honors in Portrait II and second place in the Wedding category. I also won the top prize at the Symbols show curated by Susan Bernstein with one of my street shots from LA. My portfolio can be found at www.ericedgephotography.com.
