Eric Schusser - friend of the mountains and the snow
Photography has fascinated me since I was a boy and watched my father printing in his darkroom.
I have a diverse portfolio that covers fine art, landscape and social documentary - I specialise in classic black & white and contemporary fine art images.
Milestones on my journey include 16 solo exhibitions, 14 group exhibitions, numerous regional and national awards, an Advanced Diploma in Photography, Fellow of the PSNZ and a book documenting Ambulance Officers’ lives.
Key photographic influences include Wayne Barrar, Laurence Aberhart, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, Bill Brandt, Minor White, and the Dusseldorf School of Photography.
