Erica Welling graduated from ArtEZ, Academy of Visual Arts in Arnhem and works from a studio in Wageningen and Heveadorp. Erica investigates the deviant, seeing differently, authenticity, intensity, emotion, passion for color, graphic elements and shapes. You don’t know what you see, you have to feel it. Because Goethe already said it: ‘light, darkness and color together are the only thing that distinguishes one object from another for the eye and distinguishes the parts of the object from each other’.’
