Erika is a self taught tintype artist living and working in Asheville, NC. Her portrait-focused work supports each individual artists' unique exploration of their inner and outer landscapes. She experiments with the wet plate collodion process and abstraction as she works with themes of mixed racial ancestry, indigenous practice, and somatic expression.
