About Erin Nowak

Erin Nowak (b. 1976) is an American artist based in Moorestown, NJ. Her photography is focused on relationships, specifically those that explore human activities on the environmental features of the Mid-Atlantic topographical and cultural landscapes. Erin was recently awarded an honorable mention for the 20th Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Storytelling and attended the 2023 Review Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. She is a 2022 Puffin Foundation grantee and received a 2021 Individual Artist Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. In 2019, she was awarded Third Place for self-published book by the International Photography Awards as well as two Honorable Mentions for her series Taking Flight. An internationally exhibited photographer, her work resides in the permanent collections at Penn Medicine Radnor, PA; Penn Medicine Cherry Hill, NJ; and in private collections throughout the United States.
