After finishing my social psychology study, I switched towards another way of learning about people and their behavior, motives and movements. I moved to Antwerp for three years, to study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. In my work I am interested in nature and growth, and therefore, the shapes that arise. My work is very tactile and balances between a personal and fictional perspective. With moving between staged and found situations, or even a combination, I give the viewer hints to a narrative. As a photographer I am interested in the narrative structure series can have and how they differ between different viewers. The people being photographed are part of a bigger search of me as a photographer. Photography is a way of exploring bodies, faces, nature and all combined.
