About Eva Fisher
EVA FISHER was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1971, where she lives and works as a professional photographer.
She studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris in which she graduated with a master degree in economics. In 2000 she decided to become a photographer. She held workshops in Photo Club Bs. As and studied photographic conservation. She specialized in advertising photography with Ricardo Sanguinetti, and studied photographic expression with Guillermo Ueno, Ananké Asseff and Juan Travnik.
In 2005, Eva began working as a stringer in La Nación and Clarín digital news paper and makes press photography of the Mar del Plata film festival. In 2009 she was called to integrate the German Press Agency dpa in which she developed until December 2012 as Lat Am Photo Editor.
At the same time Eva exposes her essays, "Partículas Elementales" on UCEMA, 2006 and "New York Flash Back" in Arcimboldo Art Gallery los cuatro amaneceres, 2006 also participated in group exhibitions among which "Territorios Humanos" in Maria Elena Kravetz Gallery Córdoba, 2010; "Ni por el pétalo de una Rosa: Cuerpo y Castigo", Casa Ensamble, Bogotá, Colombia, 2009; "Onceópolis" Centro Cultural Borges, Argentina, 2007; "Punk in Happiness" curated by Máximo Jacoby, Centro Cultural Borges, Argentina, 2007.
Today Eva works as a freelance photographer and editor. Her works are published in magazines and in national and international newspapers. In 2013 she is selected in the “Salón Nacional de Fotografía” . In 2014 she exhibits her essay “How to get out of that room?” In the VI Bienal de Fotografía de Tucumán.
