Born in New York City, Evan B. Siegel is a part time professional photographer living in Newport Coast, California, and traveling extensively in Europe, Australia, and the polar regions. He specializes in portraiture, fine art, fashion, landscape, Underwater, and wildlife photography. He has had a number of one-man shows in Chapel Hill, NC and Washington, DC, and published work in a number of compendia. He taught photography in a local college in his film days. Evan moved cautiously from film to digital media, and has fully embraced the latter for its flexibility, dynamic range, and ease of post-processing. He uses both full-frame 35mm DSLR and medium format equipment and favors natural light, although he enjoys shooting with studio lighting. He is available, by mutual arrangement, for commissioned work and special assignments in most areas of the world.
