My name is Evgeniya Yakovets and I am photographer living in Brussels, Belgium.
After I graduated with a bachelor degree in English and Russian Literature from Université Libre De Bruxelles, I kept developing my passion for a story telling through the visual medium of photography.
The subject of my work is intensely personal but tells more universal narrative about childhood, parenthood and family, as well as about metamorphose of oneself going through different stages of life and how art and creativity helps us to comprehend the complex realm around us.
My projects have rawness and honesty to it but yet with a poetic depiction of ordinary everyday existence.
Currently I am working on a project about the place of neurodivergent people in our society.
