Ezio Romano (Chioggia [VE] 1946- ....), from Monfalcone (GO), Italy. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery (University of Padova), consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (University of Trieste) and Biomedical Engineering specialist (University of Bologna). Head of the Dpt of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Ospedale Maggiore, Trieste , Italy (retired). Author and Editor of many postgraduated textbooks of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.
My father passed on to me his passion for photography; while the interest for pencil drawing is a recent discovery. I like portrait very much, both in photography and pencil drawing; but I also practice landscape and street photography. I love reading and my library is actually including about 3200 printed books and 1900 ebooks. Not too large, but in any case remarkable for number and titles.
I received honorable mentions at the Monochrome Portrait Awards International Competition 2019, 2020 and 2021 . Some of my works have been published in the Italian magazine FOTOGRAFARE.
