About Fabio Guardino

My name is Fabio Guardino, I am an Italian amateur photographer, but for work reasons I live in London. Since I was a child I have always been attracted to photography and art in general, but I have never made a job out of it. After a few years of photographic inactivity, I bought a Nikon D5600 with my partner with which I started taking generic photographs again after taking a short course to refresh my memory. The turning point came during the Covid pandemic and so, in 2020 I took my approach to photography more seriously, starting to look at the photos of the greats of the past and gradually also of today's photographers. So I bought a Fujifilm X-S10 to which I combined three lenses. I dedicate myself to street and urban photography because I like to observe what happens around me, but I don't disdain the landscape. I don't think I have a well-defined style yet, but I certainly don't try to copy others, I don't consider it correct because I believe that each of us, in our own small way, must try and find a more or less defined path. I photograph in both colours and black and white with no preference for one or the other. We'll see what the future holds for us.
